BIDEM is the major event of The Community of Practice for Caribbean Immigrant Entrepreneurs (The CoP).

This web site serves as the home page of the Conference and Trade Show  and official Internet reference for The CoP. Magate Wildhorse Consulting is the co-convener of BIDEM its Privacy Statement can be found here.

While we are aware that as a nonprofit organization some aspects of Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) might not be applicable to us; however, we would like to assure you our members, sponsors, partners, donors, fans, affiliates and associates that we respect your privacy.  Rest assured that we embrace and apply all relevant  provisions of PIPEDA and the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans – TCPS 2 (2018).

This privacy statement applies to Emails, Web Site and Social Media Channels owned by The Community of Practice for Caribbean Immigrant Entrepreneurs and BIDEM Conference and Trade Show.  Contained in this statement (together with our Terms of Use and  any additional data privacy notices on our web site and electronic media channels or in targeted Emails) is an explanation of how The Community of Practice for Caribbean Immigrant Entrepreneurs and BIDEM  collects and uses the  personal data of our web site visitors, clients and business contacts. Any changes we may make to our privacy statement in the future will be posted on our web site and communicated via Emails.

For us information collected to establish eligibility for membership, programs, donor histories, information for processing payment for our solutions, personnel files of staff and volunteers may be considered personal information as such we will apply PIPEDA in combination with any other terms and conditions agreed with the parties including consent to share their opinions, comments, photos etc., by informed consent (usually granted in writing and or by accepting the terms and conditions for a particular activity or intervention by electronic signature or clicking an agreed box online or in form).

We are committed to maintaining your privacy while creating valuable, robust web sites and social media channels, which will give you the best experience possible, and in some instances we might want to develop a personal relationship with you to provide you with customized services and information. We do not sell  personal information and only collect  basic information such as name and contact for allowing you to access our services (Ex.
