An entrepreneur and postcolonial theorist, Lo is the co-founder of Caribeme Magazine. CME is an online magazine that focuses on the cultural-conscious lifestyles of Diaspora women.
While Lo sat on the Special Advisory Counsel for the late Dr. Roy A. Hastick, Sr., founder, and president for the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (CACCI), CME evolved from Dr. Hastick’s documentary inspiration. Lo wrote and was the executive producer, while filmed and edited by Lo’s daughter, filmmaker Dana Verde (danaverde.com).
She has lectured on multiple theoretical concepts and has authored multiples articles and several books. Lo has been recognized by the New Jersey Historical Society for her next book, the socioeconomic impact of small black communities in South Jersey.
Loretta provides her postcolonial sage experience through L Green-Williams Consulting; holds the covenant title of Global Goodwill Ambassador, USA, and an ordained minister under Kingdom International Assemblies, Inc.
Lo is a sought after motivational speaker; board member and advisor for several international organizations; founded USF’s Sister Connection, Woman of Concern Professionals & Strategic Conscious Networking, and Caribbean Diaspora Professional & Business Association.
